DIP SWITCH
DIP switch (also known as DIP SW/programmable switch) uses the 0/1 binary coding principle and is a switch product that can be manually toggled. It can be considered as a substitute for jumpers, and its advantage is that it is easier to switch states than jumpers.
There are two types of DIP switches: plug-in and surface mount, with pin pitch of 2.54mm/1.27mm, and generally with 1 to 10 positions to choose from, as well as 90-degree and 180-degree types.
Applications include: UPS/cloud devices/motherboards/remote controllers/medical equipment/security/industrial control.
